You are going to want to be there...

During our opening lunch at KTP on Monday, May 13, we will have an important briefing with the SBA and other government sources regarding the fate of current and future veteran programs in light of the sequester cutbacks in federal spending.  We will also focus on the brewing scandal over returning vets being denied their previous jobs or being reduced in pay.  We urge you to attend, get the facts, and share them, since all of us are being impacted!

    About Us

The California Disabled Veteran Business Alliance formed in 1994 following the establishment of the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) program by the California legislature in 1989.

The California DVBE program set a 3% goal for DVBE participation in state contracts for goods and services. It also required eligible DVBEs to obtain certification of their capabilities by the state's Department of General Services before they could participate in the program.

The CA DVBE Alliance is a 501(c)3 non-profit, EIN 94-3211918.

    Our Vision

We want to become the recognized leader and champion for CA disabled veterans interested in building and expanding business opportunities and for those entities pursuing partnerships with these businesses.

    Our Mission

We are an organization focused on:

    • Assisting disabled veterans in obtaining DVBE certification in the State of CA.
    • Providing representation for CA DVBE's and informational support to all disabled veterans as appropriate.
    • Disseminating information to and providing networking opportunities for all DVBE's.
    • Providing oversight and accountability of the DVBE program and legislation in the State of CA.
    • Advocating for and mentoring the disabled veteran business in the State of CA.
    • Supporting business entities, corporations and government agencies in their quest to develop partnerships with disabled veteran businesses.

    Our Value Proposition

    At CA DVBA, we value:

    • Integrity
    • Results
    • Relationships
    • Involvement
    • Responsiveness
    • Accountability
    • Diversity

DOD Welcome home-small.jpg A welcoming home for our Troops.

Welcoming home our men and women doesn't end after the crowd disperses, it MUST continue on for the life of the Veteran! They've served us, now we will serve them with programs that work so they reintegrate into society.

We are a national public benefit nonprofit organization that educates American Communities about best practices to serve Veterans.  We honor their service by empowering Veterans to apply their training and skills to successfully transition to productive careers and enterprises.

We provide free vocational training 24/7 to all of our members through our website, in addition to local events.  We believe the tenet that American Communities are the ultimate beneficiaries when Veterans claim their benefits and invest in productive endeavors.

The SWVBRC enlists the support of members of local Communities like you to increase Veteran awareness of the value of obtaining a VA card and receiving earned benefits.

Sponsorships, donations, volunteers and support from communities like yours enable us to reach out to Veterans and empower them to transition back into successful, productive enterprises that ultimately benefit all Americans and support future generations.
