    Program Overview

Our program can be an alternative to recycling and may have a substantial effect on the environment. Our Green initiative and refurbishing program uses donated computers and electronics (e-waste) which is turned into tools and training materials for computer repair classes which make possible opportunities for veterans and their families to receive free computers, software, and vocational certification training. Our experience has shown that a greater percentage of veterans are successful in completing a program and finding employment with a goal that is closer at hand. This is evidenced by a veteran dropout rate of almost 70% within the first year for those entering a University or College.

Our training focuses on having successful completion available within 8 to 10 weeks, with classes based primarily in the I T and Green industries. Our classroom and on the job training is for the refurbishing of computers and recycling of e-waste, with successful completion resulting in certified, ready to hire Microsoft Certified Refurbishers and membership in the Microsoft Partnership program. Our partnerships now incorporate a free Microsoft voucher program for online training and free certification, along with a University computer instructor that provides answers and support for these free online courses. We also have a veteran mentor program and a veteran transitional Life Coach that help to insure successful completion of our courses and to help provide a direction and specific resources to aid veterans in pursuing their future goals Other affiliates/partners provide seminar presentations and support with OJT training. All training will soon be available in both online and class settings, providing a network of online and offline tutorials and video, accessible on our website exclusively to veterans and their family members.

DOD Welcome home-small.jpg A welcoming home for our Troops.

Welcoming home our men and women doesn't end after the crowd disperses, it MUST continue on for the life of the Veteran! They've served us, now we will serve them with programs that work so they reintegrate into society.
