On The Contrary - An Art Fraud Awareness SAG movie short that needs funding.

    To Whom It May Concern,

I am looking to you for support. I am asking that you or your staff become a lightning rod to help me reach my goals. It is all about bringing my projects message to the masses, and with your help that is a sure thing.

I want to get my message placed on TV, in the newspaper, and on websites that the citizens on San Diego as well as state wide, nation wide and world wide alike will embrace.

My Kickstarter campaign is here...but that is just the start. I need more. Please help me reach the goal of $15,000.00 or I will end up with $0 based on Kickstarter's "All or Nothing requirements". I really want to get the funding needed get the cast and crew paid.

Please join me in my journey as I bring this film to the big screen. I have searched for and found the local SAG-AFTRA members to participate in creating a quality dramatic movie short that brings the thought provocative notion to one's mind that it is possible, somewhere in your collection of art pieces, is a forgery.

I have also formed a team of experienced film crew members that have assured me that the end result is going to have that cinematic value of those other big names you hear of in this industry.

    "On The Contrary"

    The Story:

When a hungry private investigator gets hired by a ruthless art collector and his socialite wife to find a stolen painting , the PI unveils dark secrets and unwittingly becomes part of a conspiracy.

    Mt Goals:

I am ready to film this movie short and with your help, together we will bring awareness to this ever so important subject...ART FRAUD.

I am looking to get my film funded through grant money, corporate sponsorship as well as product placement.

This movie is promoting awareness about the deceptive practices of some unscrupulous individuals in the art world.

To bring to the attention to as many as possible that they may have been swindled when they had purchased that Diego Rivera or that Pablo Picasso or the Jackson Pollock they were so excited to finally get, and paid $1 million for, is a fake.

Wow! And it does really happen. I did my research. Just ask Steve Martin if it can happen. No...Steve Martin will not be featured in this film, although it would a huge plus for supporting the arts as well as helping make the film stand out, I am not holding my breath.

My goal is to grab the viewers attention and keep it with as many twists and plots I can fit into a 15 min window.

I would love to get recognized and approached by a film maker or production house that will actually turn it into a full length feature.

More importantly, I want everyone involved to be happy and enjoy working with me.

Getting paid the amount of money that I feel the film will be worth is another story. I would be happy to get it sold, but even happier to have a great cast and crew that was happy to be a part of this film.

I am positive that you will enjoy the films interesting twist and turns as well as the films message.

Supporting the arts has...is...and always be the right thing to do.

Thank you in advance for your help in making this film possible.

    Regards,

    Michael Joseph Hudon
