    Located right off the 215 freeway in Temecula CA, SteelwateR Firearms will be opening in early 2012 and is looking for full time and part time experienced firearms sales associates and trainers.

    SteelwateR Firearms is dedicated to providing a non-intimidating, new gun owner friendly environment for our customers.  While we value your firearms expertise and knowledge, we meet our customers at THEIR comfort level, not ours.   We NEVER want our customers to feel intimidated or overwhelmed.     Sales Associate Duties include:

    •·         Greet customers

    •·         Help customers find the right firearms and accessories to meet their needs

    •·         Complete appropriate sales documentation  as required by local, state, federal and company requirements

    •·         Assist with receiving, labeling, stocking inventory

    •·         Operate POS system

    •·         Monitor company blogs, forums, e-mails and respond to customer concerns as needed

    •·         Other duties as needed

     

    Trainer Duties include:

    •·         Deliver training to customers consistently following a published syllabus

    •·         Assist with the development of training schedules, materials, coursework

    •·         Oversee students live fire exercises at local ranges

    •·         Setup/teardown classroom and ranges  as needed

    •·         Other duties as needed

     

    Requirements:

    •·         Sales Associates: MINIMUM 1 year experience in firearms sales OR active duty/honorable discharge/Law Enforcement

    •·         Trainers:  NRA, POST, TASER  or other certified trainer certification and minimum 1 year training experience

    •·         All Candidates:

    •·         Solid knowledge of laws pertaining to firearms and ammunition sales

    •·         Solid customer service skills

    •·         Able to communicate clearly

    •·         Working knowledge of firearm and ammunition mechanics

    •·         Ability to field strip, clean and assemble basic firearms

    .

    All candidates are subject to verification through e-verify and will be required to possess a valid Certificate of Eligibility from California Department of Justice prior to any start of employment
