4.  BOEING Opportunity, Washington DC, Navy Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Business Developer (BD)

Duties: Strategic Missile and Defense Systems (SMDS) Navy IAMD team is seeking candidates with deep understanding of emerging Navy customer requirements in the IAMD market space.  The successful candidate will focus on growth opportunities in the IAMD market and create a sound business case and value proposition based upon customer needs. Primary responsibilities include:

·       Capture strategy development; executing targeted marketing plans;

·       Guiding the  research and development process to provide new products and services;

·       Performing business  case analysis; and leading strategy to action implementation to ensure IAMD business goals and  commitments are met; 

·       Managing the development of products and tools  to support the business development process and analyze future customer requirements to achieve  critical marketing objectives;

·       Successful candidate will routinely engage with senior military  officers and government officials and establish close working relationships with various organizations across Boeing;

·       Proven marketing strategies within the defense community; a proven track record of effectively partnering  with business area or other functional organizations to drive results; 

·       Deep knowledge of the Navy organization is required and OSD/Navy acquisition experience is preferred;

·       Recent integrated air and missile defense, ballistic missile defense and/or surface combat system experience is desired.

Required Qualifications

·       Position requires the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance - US Citizenship required. Applicants MUST include their security clearance level, investigation type and date clearly on their resume.

·       Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.

·       Position located in Arlington VA.

·       Position requires significant experience with the Navy's integrated air and missile defense community, Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) experience preferred.

·       Demonstrated business development or proposal experience a plus.

·       Position may require limited domestic and international travel.
