Merry Christmas, here is my latest....Bud

    Business Development Manager Opportunities

As we discussed, our client is a division of GD that manufactures motion control products used in a variety of aerospace, defense and homeland security
applications. They are located in San Diego . They've retained us to fill two Business Development Manager positions. One will be based at their San Diego
facility, the other will be a home-based regional BDM who can be based in the east or mid-west. The essence of the positions is key account management
developing business with major OEM's like Raytheon, L3, Boeing, LMT and branches of DOD. They already enjoy long working relationships with many of the OEM's so
it's not "cold calling". They want the BDM to be primary interface with key accounts to maintaining existing business and to capture new business for
advanced programs. In addition, the BDM's will develop new business at new customers and contribute to the divisions strategic plans and marketing plans.

    Requirements:
We desire 5 or more years in a similar type of sales and marketing working with defense OEM's, the government and/or tier 2 and 3 suppliers. An engineering degree or prior military service is highly desired. Very good communication skills, interpersonal skills and presentation skills are required.

    Benefits:

Base salary is in the 100k - 125K range with a realistic and attainable 25-40% bonus plan. The positions report to the VP/GM of the division whom I've
known for 13 years. He's a great guy and very good manager. The position will have plenty of visibility to upper management and other GD divisions.

Thank you in advance for any thought and assistance. Please forward me a copy of your resume and we'll keep you in mind for any opportunities that offer
    international responsibilities.

    Best Regards,

    Keith Ogata
