    A.  Accounts Payable Specialist III - 351692
    This individual will perform lead responsibilities for the accounts payable department and be an integral member of the accounts payable team.  This individual will develop and oversee accounts payable associates on day-to-day operations.  The individual must be able to develop and lead individual employees and foster a team environment; reconcile pre-payment checks issued to vendors; reconcile credit reports and outstanding credits due to BAE; experienced knowledge of year-end process.  Work with staff to ensure all major vendor statements are reconciled.  Drive continuous improvement of accounts payable processes.  Lead accounts payable COSA audits and conduct in-depth analysis of deficiencies.  Review non-purchase order accounts payable invoices to validate in compliance with DOA.  Process all EFT wire transfers and checks transmit to bank reconcile with pre-payment edit report and disbursements posted.  Support accounts payable associates with resolution on problem invoices.  Process intercompany and team partner invoices; provide support of invoices for intercompany invoices to GL department.  Process P-card payments for all companies and reconcile.  Perform sub-period and month-end close procedures to ensure all invoices are posted in the correct period.  Run accounts payable sweep process for sub-period close.  Process invoices for company Navy supply vendor.  Assist staff on leave or vacation and perform duties as needed; random review of accounts payable check back-up before processing checks; Fed-Ex reconciliation.  7 years or more of accounting/accounts payable experience with proven record of growth and responsibility as well as knowledge and understanding of accounting principles.  Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and possess organizational skills.  Must possess Costpoint experience and be knowledgeable of 1099 process for vendors.  Must have strong Costpoint ERP system and accounts payable pre-processor knowledge.  Must be able to communicate with senior level management and maintain a high level of confidentiality.  Must have a proven track record of managing teams, motivating and leading employees; and implementing development plans for continuous learning.  Excellent communication skills required.  High school diploma required.  Accounting certification preferred.

    B. Deck Plate Management - 351807
    The candidate will manage cost, fixed price and T&M type subcontracts.  Daily shipboard interface with multiple cost plus and fixed price subcontractor program managers.  Ensure subcontractors are in compliance with BAE terms and conditions- ethics, safety, environmental, quality assurance and security requirements. Ensure subcontractors provide resources and equipment to support awarded work items.  Review all CFR/IDR reports prior to submittal and ensure timely submittal.  Ensure as found reports, required PCP’s and test inspection plans are submitted in a timely manner.  Review all cost reports on a weekly basis to ensure cost controls and evaluate cost trends.  Attend all cost report meetings.  Ensure subcontractors attend all required planning and production meetings.  Maintain compartment close-out data.  This individual will be the primary contractual point of contact for dealing with deck plate subcontractor issues.  Provide subcontractor ongoing evaluations base on contract avail progress of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% using the CPAR criteria.  Microsoft Office skills required (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Must be able to work independently and multi-task. Must have basic knowledge of FAR/DFAR and UCC. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 to 4 years ship board experience in program management/trade experience.  Certificate in US Government Contract Management preferred. A business degree or equivalent experience in the business field is required.

    C. Finance Manager III - 349656
    Ensure that accurate and timely contract cost information and related services are provided to Program Management, Government customers, and BAE financial and senior management.  Ensure that contract deliverables are met.  Provide guidance and assistance to Program Management relative to program cost and schedule.  Provide a wide breadth of leadership and act as a finance, accounting, government contracting, financial strategy, and business advisor principally to the VP-GM of BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair and BAE Systems Ship Repair Director of Finance, Program Directors, and Managers.  Organize, plan, direct, and measure results to ensure that all Program Control and Analysis processes are integrated and support the strategic objectives.  Lead related process improvements.  Interpret and execute government policies and procedures and make recommendations for policy changes or modifications to management.  Provide consolidated, accurate, and timely reporting of the financial forecasts and budgets for the San Diego business unit including variance analysis.  Provide forecasts in a variety of formats and include the Integrated Business (5 year) Plan, Monthly Forecasts, QBRs and ad-hoc analyses.  Required skills: analytical thought needed to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations without supervision; developed communication skills to exchange complex information; 6 years in a DoD environment; 5+ years program finance; FAR/DFAR; EVMS.  Bachelor’s degree required; Masters degree preferred; 10+ years experience; applicable financial and/or accounting certifications (i.e., CPA).  Maybe required to obtain a security clearance.

    D. Maritime Engineer - 352106
    Provide technical oversight on all ship repair work and liaison with customer providing technical solutions to engineering repairs. Specifically responsible for reviewing specifications, ensuring their technical accuracy, providing deck plate oversight and engineering solutions to complex technical issues.  Must be able to document solutions and provide technical reports for customer review. Additionally, the position requires interface with NAVSEA and NSSA engineering, establishing credible relationships while providing sound technical solutions to engineering repairs to Navy ships under our contract. The Onsite Engineer will also participate in the planning process focusing on complex alterations and repair work integration and providing guidance on how to execute work in an efficient manner.  Bachelors level degree in Engineering: Naval, Marine, Mechanical or related field.  6 years of experience required.  Must have strong Marine engineering background.  Must have working knowledge of naval vessels.

    As a member of the Program Management Team, manage a designated portion of a Navy surface ship repair package including the installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems in Engineering, Crew Berthing, Electronic/Combat System Suites, and Mission Critical spaces.  Ensure assigned work is completed on time and within established budgets.
