    This position is for the Deputy for Operations for the Research and
    Applied Sciences Department, Code 71.  The selectee reports directly
    to the Senior Executive Service Department Head.  The Deputy for
    Operations works to deliver integrated products and services by
    coordinating efforts across the Department and across the Center.
    Coordinates with the Department Head, Business Deputy and the
    Division Heads to represent an integrated program to senior
    programmatic and technical sponsors and senior Command visitors.
    Works closely with the National Competency leads for S&T, Command and

    programmatic operations of the Research and Applied Sciences

    Corporate Operations Group (COG) meetings, and supports Executive

    serves as Department Alternate Pay Pool Manager.

    The Maintenance Manager II reports to the Technical Operations Manager and coordinates and manages the activities of Maintenance Technicians based on daily support to entire site (non-production), outstanding work orders and special/emergency requests in accordance with individual Technician's skills and abilities. Maintain sound communication with MRO to insure needed maintenance parts, equipment inventory reports are correct and calculate minimum reorder levels.
