    Del Rey Systems Opportunities:

    A. San Diego, Ca, Logistics Analyst (Senior)
     
    The successful applicant will be part of a DEL REY Integrated Product Team (IPT) for Acquisition Logistics established in support of TEAM SPAWAR.
     
    A DoD Secret Security Clearance is required for this position   
     
    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
     
    The applicant will use key documents such as the DoD 5000.02, SECNAV Instruction 4105.1B and the ILA Handbook (NAVSO P-3692) as guidance for develop and review of program documents.  The applicant will have experience in support of program logistics plans and In Service Engineering Activity (ISEA) support to meet program readiness objectives and thresholds. Demonstrated experience in support of logistics in an acquisition program.
     
    Applicant must possess a working knowledge of major command and control, communications, computers intelligence systems and information management and information technology and/or their operational employment. The applicant will be required to demonstrate a wide range of knowledge and complete familiarization with the Integrated Logistics Support elements, acquisition logistics requirements, logistics certifications, and Navy logistics infrastructure. A sound knowledge of systems engineering and the interrelationship of logistics to reliability, maintainability, and configuration management in the design, production and life cycle support of system or equipment is paramount in understanding the ILS end-to-end process and its impact on life cycle support.
               
    The candidate must have the ability to communicate and work with personnel at command level, program management levels, other services, providing recommendations and assistance as required in support of the program achieving a successful ILA.  Ability to communicate information regarding logistics support in oral and written forms with technical and administrative personnel at all levels is a critical requirement for this position.  In additional the candidate must have the ability to work effectively as a member of an ASN (RD&A), DASN, OPNAV, PEO, or SYSCOM, Integrated Logistics Teams and/or Integrated Installation and Test Team.
     
    QUALIFICATIONS
     
    Education
     
    •        Baccalaureate degree in a logistics, business, management, or technical field
    •        DAWIA Acquisition Logistics Level II Certification equivalent
    •        Must have completed the following DAU courses (or be able to complete any remaining courses within 6 months of hire date):
     

             Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management
             Acquisition Logistics Fundamentals
             Systems Sustainment Management Fundamentals
             Designing for Supportability in DoD Systems
             Performance-Based Logistics
     
    Effective 1 October 2010, the following courses  are required:
     

             Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM)
             Intermediate Acquisition Logistics, Part A
             Intermediate Acquisition Logistics, Part B (R)
             Performance-Based Logistics, Part A
             Performance-Based Logistics, Part B (R)
     
    Effective 1 October 2010, the following course is required:
     

    Intermediate Systems Sustainment Management
     
    Experience: 3-6 years of life cycle logistics experience in support of acquisition or sustainment of DoD weapons/materiel systems and/or working level experience in at least one logistics element support area such as Technical Manual Development for logistics documents.
