    Duties:

    CACI is looking for an experienced Project Manager candidate for a Navy Surface Ship Technical/Engineering opportunity. The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of surface ship technical and engineering specialists supporting various technical and programmatic requirements for W Department, NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The CACI Project Manager will participate and manage technical reviews, studies/analysis, integrated product teams, manage project budgets and employee requirements and various other corporate and client requirements. 

    Required Qualifications: Must have a current DoD SECRET Security Clearance to qualify.

    Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related general program management experience, including three to five years of supervisory/management experience.  This experience must include:

    ·        10 to 12  years acquired in a relevant area such as combat system computer program development/certification, combat/weapons system development/modernization, or similar program experience. 

    ·        experience in traditional program management tasks including project planning, tracking, and oversight; project reporting; budget planning and execution; engineering; quality assurance; configuration management; risk management; and metrics identification, analysis, and reporting.

    ·        8 years of specific surface ship Technical Program Management experience in at least three of the following specific technical program management areas within the past five years; 

    o       Combat system planning, tracking, and oversight, including management of the computer program requirements,

    o       Metric identification, collection, and analysis for combat system development, maintenance, and certification,

    o       Tactical system certification from requirements definition through development, test, authorization/certification, and installation,

    o       Strategic, trade-off, and impact studies to accomplish process improvement, infrastructure reduction, and economies of scale,

    o       Tactical program/project risk identification, mitigation, and management,

    o       Combat system dependency identification, development critical path identification, assessment, and analysis,

    o       Multi-project management in a matrix organization,

    o       Tactical system resource estimation, scheduling and coordination, and/or Combat system CM and Fleet modernization.

    Desired Qualifications: Masters degree in relevant field (engineering, MBA) is desired.

    E.  Norfolk, VA, OOMA Database Analyst, JR 45239

    Duties:

    CACI has an immediate opening for an OOMA Database Analyst in our Norfolk, VA location.  The Database Analyst provides comprehensive Naval aviation database support to the Navy software development activity responsible for the Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) program.  The database analyst will provide Tier 3 level support to OOMA users and Naval commands around the world who utilize the OOMA aviation maintenance system.  The analyst will diagnose and correct database table errors, Sybase replication errors, and will research, diagnose, and correct anomalies in the OOMA system.  He/she will also assist the SPAWAR development team as they develop in-house software tools to assist in this effort.  

    Required Qualifications: Must have a current DoD SECRET Security Clearance to qualify.

    Typically requires a BS degree in Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, or Engineering or equivalent experience and five to seven years of related database analysis/management experience.  This experience must include:

    ·         Six years of experience in technical specifications development, process analysis and design, technical problem solving, and analytical/logical thinking.

    ·         Direct experience with data base design, development, implementation, maintenance, life cycle support and performance evaluation.

    ·         Design and implementation of data base schemas, sub-schemas, and sizing changes and enhancements.

    ·         Design of program utilities needed to monitor data base efficiency and integrity.

    ·         Design, programming, and testing software.

    ·         Training programmers in proper use of data base verbs.

    ·         Maintaining data base documentation.

    ·         Data base administration.

    ·         Design and implementation of physical and logical aspects of a medium to large scale data base.

    ·         Systems analysis and design using object based programming in a client server architecture.

    ·         Programming in a DBMS or RDBMS. 

    ·         Significant hands on experience in Sybase database management.

    ·         Experience in OOMA aviation software and Naval aviation maintenance procedures is necessary to fully support the customer. 

    Desired Qualifications:

    ·         Sybase replication services management experience is invaluable

Able to use schematics and CCA artwork drawings to determine the location of nodes on a circuit for troubleshooting and testing purposes. Able to operate simple test equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, signal generators etc.)

Simulate designs and verify performance. Work with electrical designers to optimize layout under size, cost, and power dissipation constraints.
