    2.  Ciera Logistics Opportunity, Senior Acquisition Logistics Manager

     Ciera Logistics is looking for a Senior Acquisition Logistics Manager to join our team of consulting experts. The successful candidate must have hands-on Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) experience sufficient to provide seasoned consulting on Ship Construction and major Weapon Systems ACAT I & II programs.  The selected consultant must have advance ILS experience with Army Theater Support Vessels (ATSV) and recent involvement in Navy and/or Army acquisition and lifecycle logistics support programs, policies, processes and procedures.   The candidate will work alongside both Navy/Army/MSC staff and other contractors performing such duties as developing/implementing logistics supportability and Performance Base Logistics (PBL) strategies, conducting Integrated Logistics Assessments (ILAs); Participating in Reliability, Availability, Maintainability studies, identifying and managing GFE/GFI and understanding of Schedule A and Schedule C in the Acquisition Process, developing Interim Support Plans (ISPs); drafting Army/Navy Training Systems Plan (A/NTSP); and using their experience to ensure strategic goals are accomplished. You will be required to participate in logistics discussions between the services in pursuit of a common supportability strategy while producing and maintaining key documents related to the various acquisition milestones and lifecycle programs stages. The candidate will work on a daily basis with other Navy/Army and MSC program offices and the fleet, ensuring that the major warfare system logistic strategies are in alignment with the overall vision of the Navy and specifically with the Program office goals.  Periodic travel may be required to support the Program. Knowledge of and experience with Army Material Command (AMC) viewed as a plus. 

    Education Requirements: Bachelor or higher Degree required.

    Additional Requirements: At least 15 years of acquisition logistics experience required. Candidate must possess and maintain a Secret or higher security clearance.

    3. Preferred Systems Solutions, Metro D. C., SharePoint Administrator

    TS/SCI clearance required

    Project Description:

     

    In search of a SharePoint Administrator to support the Enterprise Operations activities for a major military intelligence contract.  This opportunity requires configuration control, operation and monitoring of systems in the Enterprise Operations Centers (e.g., VAX, Sun, Network Control Microcomputers, and Local and Wide Area Networks), performing backups, and managing the tape and electronic media library. 

     

    Roles & Responsibilities:

     

    The employee’s primary responsibility will be to manage all aspects of SharePoint operations to include: application of services packs, system backups, management of groups and user accounts, auditing, management of SharePoint sites and site collections, management of search an indexing functions, and system and user functional troubleshooting.

     

    Required Skills:

     

    ·        Strong MS Windows server experience

    ·        MS SQL Server experience

    ·        Ability to deploy and administer MS Office SharePoint Server 2007

    ·        Ability to deploy hot fixes, updates and service packs

    ·        Ability to assess and optimize SharePoint performance

    ·        Ability to deploy and configure SharePoint sites including: creating and managing web applications and site collections, and enabling user access

    ·        Ability to deploy and administer workflows

    ·        Excellent verbal communications skills and customer service experience

    ·        TS/SCI Clearance; accordingly, U.S. Citizenship is required

    4.  General Atomics Opportunity, Rancho Bernardo, CA, Logistics Specialst

    General Atomics, San Diego (Rancho Bernardo), California, Advanced Technologies Group is developing the Electro Magnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) for the USS GERALD R FORD (CVN 78).  The logistics team has a position for a logistics specialist with Navy military aviation maintenance background to work on Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis and development of planned maintenance system (PMS) preventive maintenance requirements for the EMALS.  RCM Level II certification a plus.  Contact Greg Stanley at Gregory.stanley@ga.com for more information or to send a resume.
