    5.  Federal Practice - Deloitte Consulting Opportunity, Washington DC

     Deloitte is seeking former Active Duty Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine and Coast Guard Officers to join our rapidly growing consulting team. We continue to win new contracts with the U.S. Federal Government, State and Local Agencies, Not-for-Profit Organizations, and International Government Agencies.     6.  CACI Opportunity, Norfolk, VA, Aviation Maintenance Analyst (OOMA), JR 43421

    Duties:

    CACI has a requirement for Aviation Maintenance Systems Analysts in our Norfolk, VA office. These analysts are responsible for training and fielding the Navy's Optimized-Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) application to Navy and Marine Corps squadrons and other aviation commands around the world. Extensive travel is required.

    Duties include providing a wide range of services in support of Navy or Marine Corps aviation maintenance and configuration management related software, ensuring the software satisfies the functional requirements of Navy and Marine Corps publications and other government directives pertaining to aviation maintenance and configuration management. Provides implementation training and database testing, trouble report analysis and resolution. Performs follow-up assistance by phone or on-site to evaluate effectiveness of the implementation or assist. Prepare reports describing tasks assigned/accomplished and make recommendations on training needs, attendance requirements, and resources necessary for developing and conducting aviation maintenance and configuration management related training courses.

    Required Qualifications: Must be eligible to obtain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance.

    Per contract requirements, the successful candidate must have:

    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems,, Mathematics or related quantitative discipline, or in lieu of a degree, have eight (8) years of "hands-on" experience in a Navy or Marine Corps automated aviation maintenance and configuration systems environment.

    The following experience is required in addition to the education requirement or practical equivalency delineated above.

    a. General Experience. Five (5) years experience in either a Navy or Marine Corps shipboard/shore department/division performing preventative/corrective aviation maintenance or at an activity that tests and implements application software in support of Navy or Marine Corps aviation shipboard/shore maintenance and configuration management processing.

    b. Specific Experience. Within general experience, the applicant must have three (3) years extensive hands-on experience in a functional and or training position supporting one or more of the following systems: OOMA, NALCOMIS or AV3M. Also within general experience, must have three (3) years experience in a management or supervisory position in support of Navy or Marine Corps aviation shipboard/shore maintenance and configuration management systems. Specific experience may have been gained concurrently.

    Desired Qualifications:

    Knowledge of processes and procedures of SPAWAR SYSTEM Center Norfolk is an asset as is experience with ISO Quality Management System and project management methodologies. Leadership and experience planning and executing for the fielding of OOMA is highly desirable.

    Key Roles

    ·        Candidates must be capable of serving as a primary PEO C4I point of contact with the OPNAV staff for all systems/equipment acquired in support of the Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) program.

    ·        Candidates must be capable of interaction with Navy Type-Commanders (TYCOMs) to facilitate development of CONOPS documentation and movement of Fleet requirements to the OPNAV resource sponsors for subsequent use in generating acquisition strategies. He/she must also be prepared to serve as a conduit of information from the acquisition community to the TYCOMs to ensure transparency in the effort to field systems in answer to Fleet requirements.

    ·        Candidates must be prepared to help craft budget submissions, reclamas, and any other programmatic documentation required in the Program Office.

    ·        Applicants must be able to provide advice and assistance to project office that directly affect the conduct and attainment of program goals and objectives, participate at IPTs, technical exchanges, program Risk Review Boards, IPRs and other related meetings.

    ·        All candidates for this position will be subject to a government-sponsored background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required.

    Skills Required:

    ·        Bachelor of Science in a related field (Note: 8 years of experience and training in Acquisition support or technical writing can be substituted for the Bachelor of Science in a related field )

    ·        Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Project, Powerpoint, Excel, Access, etc.)
