Veteran Entrepreneurship Training Series (VETS)
This is our seventh pre-summit VETS and all sessions will now be held at our summit venue. This session is not a live webcast. If you missed our live webcasts you can view at www.VETS.Training, stay tune for our next live webcas!

Our intent is to talk about what it means to be Procurement Ready? Rather you sell to the government or public, you MUST be procurement ready and deliver what is being paid for and sought.

At our December session we will have the following speakers:

Albert R. Renteria Services Disabled Veteran Owned Business, main topic is a MUST for all Veterans as we talk about click here VECTOR VA pre-award, 73 awardees were announced and 68 contracts with service groups of each prime. Learn first hand of this amazing nationwide opportunity.

Wayne Gross from Department of General Service will join us from Sacramento CA and be ready to view your DGS profile so make sure you know your DUNS number so that Wayne can guide you on how best to market your business online with E-procure. Winning starts with be found and the buyer clearly understanding what you are selling.

I invited Roxanne Rapske, FranNet San Diego Franchise Consultant to join us and present the benefits of buying a business in a box brick and mortar. A franchise has changed and the rules are improving and cost to operate and revenue share are now favoring the buyer, but I don't know those facts so join me and hear it firsthand from an expert.

BIO of Roxanne - Combining her 20+ years of experience in Corporate America and her own process of starting a business, Roxanne works with transitioning executives, transitioning military, the underemployed, or those unhappy with their corporate environment to determine if business ownership is a viable choice for them. She also works with business owners and those who want to stay in Corporate America by helping them diversify or create an additional revenue stream with semi-passive opportunities. Roxanne has the heart of a teacher, and because she's "been there, done that", she understands that the dream of business ownership can be daunting, and she partners with her clients to match their skill sets, lifestyle & income goals, and financial qualifications to the appropriate business.

Roxanne partners with local organizations like the Small Business Administration and the Small Business Development Centers as well as local colleges and universities to speak on entrepreneurship. Roxanne believes that everyone is in charge of their own destiny. She uses her people, consulting and mentoring skills to help others make the same transition she has, through a clear and defined process.

Our approach is like many of us Veterans were indoctrinated to become Operational Capable prior to deployment. We trained for six months to deploy as Special Operational Capable (SOC), this model will serve to get you SOC for our 7th Annual Veteran and Small Business Summit being held in Oceanside CA on Feb 26, 27, 2018. Before you can become Procurement Ready you must first be operational ready!!

We are lining up decision makers so that those Procurement Ready are vetted during these six months of training, so think pre-deployment training, this will be a monthly VETS across the nation and you don't want to be a non-deployable, you know what I mean! Don't let the ship leave without you. Semper Fi, Al
