Where:  227 N D Street Perris CA 92570, north side of the Chamber of Commerce Building

Attending this seminar you will benefit by aquiring the proper defenition of the difference between an employee and an independent contractor.  This will assist you in avoiding any unplanned payroll tax liabilities.  By learning the difference your bottom line will have a positive cash flow by avoiding penalties and interest. 

The workshop will be conducted by Mercy Moreno Employment Tax Consultant with the Employment Development Department.

In just four hours, you will learn:

 - California payroll reporting requierements, including forms, employer obligations, reporting, and payment requirements

 - About independent contractor reporting requirements

 - Electronic filing and payment requirements and options

 - How to distinguish between an employee and an independent contractor

 - The basics of statutory employment

 - Ways to get assistance

By the conclusion of the seminar, you’ll be amazed that you can:

  • Learn and interpret the state payroll laws
  • Explain the differences between employee and independent contractor
  • Understand key financial payroll obligations and unintendend consequences for not knowing
  • Articulate how best to employ and properly report your workers. Resulting in better cash flow, pricing and more impact financial success
